A Smart Fan With RGB Lights For People Who Take Their Garage Workouts Seriously (Or Plan To)
I bought this fan for my garage gym. It oscillates 240 degrees, connects to Wi-Fi, has 9 speeds, runs at 20 decibels which is basically silent, and glows with RGB lighting that cycles through colors like a tiny nightclub.
It mostly blows dust around.
To be fair, it does that extremely well. The DREO Smart Fan moves air across 100 feet, which is impressive in a garage and frankly overkill in most normal rooms. You can control it with your phone, with Alexa, with the remote, or with the physical buttons if you’re feeling retro.
The RGB light ring is genuinely cool at night. The oscillation is smooth and quiet. The app works. It looks like something from a spaceship catalog, which is exactly the energy I wanted next to my kettlebell that I also use occasionally.
Is this more fan than anyone needs? Yes. Is it extremely satisfying to tell Alexa to turn on your garage fan from inside the house? Also yes. Blame the internet.
